Have you ever looked at those beautifully posed family portraits and thought “my kids would never sit like that?”
Yeah me too. My two girls would NEVER sit still for that long! With all my experience as a photographer I have never encountered a young child who will follow direction like that. I honestly don’t know how they do it. But also, I don’t want to be creating these immaculate portraits of idle little dolls; I want to capture the character and fun personalities of all the children I photograph.
This is why I create these annual fun photoshoots! Last year was Glitter Sessions, this year we play with Bubbles!
Limited Edition Bubble Portraits
These bubble sessions have been designed to give you a little taster of the Starbright Wonderland Photography experience. It is great fun for the kids and you get a gorgeous set of images that capture their laughing smile and personality. They really are limited edition! I will only shoot 8 of these sessions.
Why?? I hear you cry!
Well there are two reasons;
1) I want to be able to give each client my undivided attention and no time limit. This is why I am not running multiple back to back shoots in the style of ‘mini shoots’
2) I want to give each of my families a customised experience and don’t just use a ‘copy and paste’ approach.
When can we do the shoot?
June ONLY!
Each year I try and think up something new and fun to do in the Starbright Studio so I always have something fresh for my clients.

So what is included in the Bubble Package?
- Stying consultation via phone or Zoom
- Photoshoot
- Gallery viewing and image selection in the Starbright Studio
- 5 High Resolution Digital Images

You get to see your images on the day!
There is no waiting around for weeks to see your images. Immediately after your shoot I will show you the best on the big screen. We can entertain your little ones by putting the TV on, or give them snacks, or they may love to come and watch all the images of themselves. Once you have made your selection I will go ahead and finish the edit for you. Your final images will be delivered to you via an online gallery within two weeks. Remember, you have 5 digital images included in your package!
You do have your 5 digitals but...
They are so much better printed and on display!
How many hours have you spend sitting at those super-slow self-serve kiosks at BigW selecting your photos for print only to get them back with someone’s head cropped off?
Frustrating, am I right?
Yep! I can’t stand it. It is such a waste of all our time. This is just one of the reasons why I want to take care of the printing for you. Here are a few more…
- it saves you time (and we are all short on that!)
- changing the aspect ratio can cause funny crops (missing feet and heads isn't a good look)
- my screen is calibrated to the print labs I use so you know you will get true colour products
- I know where to get the best quality prints and products that will still look good in years to come
Good quality printing by someone who knows what they are doing is well worth the investment!
FAQ's
Is there an age limit?
So long as a child is old enough to sit independently and actually wants to play with bubbles (before the teenage attitude kicks in, haha) then they are welcome!
How many people can we include in one shoot?
You can include all of your own children, or a friendship group. I have not put a limit on the number of children so we can accomodate larger families and blended families. Just remember that larger groups usually require more time and you probably will want more than 5 images so consider booking a double session. You can always purchase additional digital images for $75 each.
How do I book in?
I have set this up to be smooth and easy for you 🙂 You can click the link below then your time slot on your chosen date! You can then fill in a few details and book in! It’s as simple as that! If you do have any questions you can contact me through the form below or call on 0449 035 787 🙂 but you will be hearing from me pretty soon after you make your booking anyway. I will have plenty of handy information and tips to make sure you get most out of your Starbright photoshoot!
What if I need to cancel?
I know sometimes life throws a spanner in the works. If you need to cancel your appointment please contact me directly. I will do my best to rearrange your shoot to a more convenient time. I allow one reschedule for free so long as it is done more than 72 hours prior to your shoot time – if you reschedule a second time you need to pay for the new booking ($300). If you cancel less than three days prior to your shoot no refund is given. Please check dates BEFORE you book.
